Life is about growth and change. We watch our kids grow up and remember how different things were when we were growing up. Remember how long summers used to be when you were a kid? The 4th of July included lighting your own fireworks having picnics and swimming. Those picnics for us always included dark-red Bing cherries, no matter what else was there. Cherries so sweet they were dessert.
We still grow those beautiful, sweet Bings, but now we grow varieties that make the 4th of July last all summer long. And the red-yellow Rainier cherry with its mild super-sweet flavor is beyond description. Things have changed, but when you’re talking about cherries, those changes have been good. Sweeter, firmer cherries all summer long. Make memories that last a lifetime with the best fruit on earth.
